Invisalign: what does it correct?
Clear aligners are effective in solving most problems related to malocclusions, namely:
- Diastemas: presence of a space between teeth;
- Deep bite: when the upper arch teeth overlap too much with the lower arch teeth;
- Open bite: when the front teeth do not touch;
- Dental crowding (crooked teeth): when the arch does not have available space to accommodate all teeth adequately.
Invisalign: when the first results?
The beauty of clear masks is that you can see from week to week the progress your teeth’s appearance is making.
In any case, a treatment generally achieves the expected results after 12-24 months, depending on the complexity of the case.
Does it hurt?
Some patients report experiencing discomfort for the first 2-3 days after each mask change. But it is nothing unbearable and in any case disappears after a few days.
Invisalign can be seen?
Once applied, Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible. Only an attentive observer might notice that your teeth are a little shinier than normal, but to do so would require getting very close to your face.
