Implant treatment in bone deficiencies

Is a panoramic X-ray sufficient?
Panoramic X-rays provide two-dimensional information. They do not provide clear measurement results for patients with low or borderline bone density. That is why planning implant treatment requires three-dimensional dental tomography. A tomogram provides detailed images of bone and soft tissue that are not visible on normal X-rays.

Can I receive implant treatment even if I have osteoporosis?
Osteoporosis in the body is completely different from osteoporosis in the mouth. People with osteoporosis in the body may not have dental osteoporosis or people with dental osteoporosis may not have it in the body. Therefore, it is necessary to have a detailed dental examination before any implant treatment.
How is bone created if the amount of bone in the upper jaw is too low?
